Welcome to Achievery. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Achievery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Achievery is a personal achievement tracking application that allows users to:

• Log and track personal achievements
• Receive AI-powered scoring for achievements
• Participate in weekly leagues and leaderboards
• Complete daily quests for bonus points
• Earn badges for reaching milestones
• Sync data across devices

3. User Accounts

You may use Achievery as a guest with a device-based identifier, or create an account with an email and password. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Achievery Elite Subscription

Achievery offers a premium subscription called "Achievery Elite" that provides additional features including unlimited AI scoring, advanced analytics, quest rerolls, and profile flair.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and payment policies.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as they handle all payment processing.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the achievements and content you create in Achievery. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to manipulate league rankings or scores fraudulently
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated systems to access the service

7. Intellectual Property

Achievery and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Achievery and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. AI-Powered Features

Achievery uses artificial intelligence to score achievements. These scores are generated automatically and are intended for entertainment and motivation purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Achievery is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Achievery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Achievery and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

You may delete your account at any time through the Profile section of the app. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your data from our servers.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
