Achievery ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Device Identifier: A unique identifier generated for your device to enable data synchronization and anonymous usage of the app.
• Account Information: If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password.
• Achievement Data: The achievements you log, including titles, descriptions, dates, and AI-generated scores.
• Usage Statistics: Your progress data, streaks, league standings, quest completions, and earned badges.
• Subscription Information: If you subscribe to Achievery Elite, we store subscription status and expiration dates. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the Achievery service
• Sync your data across devices
• Enable weekly league competitions and leaderboards
• Generate personalized daily quests
• Track your progress and award badges
• Process and verify subscription purchases
• Improve our services and user experience

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of payment information.
• OpenAI: For AI-powered achievement scoring. Achievement text may be processed by OpenAI's API to generate scores. No personal identifying information is shared with OpenAI.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Achievement data is also stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, allowing offline access to your information.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your achievement data

To delete your account, go to the Profile tab in the app and select "Delete Account." This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

Achievery is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
